OUR VISION
We want to see a diverse and dynamic church made up of many people whose lives have been changed by meeting Jesus, who are radical, real and relevant. Radical in their passion for God, real about their care for one another and relevant in the way they communicate God’s love to the whole community.
This church will powerfully affect the society around, so that changed lives and modern-day miracles are the norm and God’s presence is the determining factor. We also see a church where each of us can be trained and released to use the gifts God has uniquely given us in order to resource God’s church. This can be locally here in Hastings, further afield nationally or around the world. This vision is reinforced by our values and beliefs, some of which are:
- Worshipping and glorifying Jesus
- Consistently proclaiming the gospel by word, deed and lifestyle
- Discipleship and care promoted in smaller groups
- Impacting the area with a large Christian community consisting of all ages, races and backgrounds
- Applying the Bible to everyday life
- Fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer
- Water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit for all believers
- Equipping every member to play his/her part
- Imparting all of the above to Britain, Europe and the rest of the world, in particular though our links with the Newfrontiers family of churches.
