A college, a chief inspector, and praying for our town

Praying at the college

The Season of Prayer, Fasting & Giving got off to a fantastic start! We felt the presence of God clearly with us at the early morning meeting on Sunday (23rd September), and it was great to gather at Sussex Coast College in the town centre on Sunday evening, when we heard some information about the local economy before praying for the council and other agencies, our church and other churches across the town, the poor in our communities and revival!

We also prayed for Santino, following the exciting news that morning that he is being commended to the church for eldership, and for God's grace for us all through the building project, which is due to start in just a couple of weeks' time!

The Tuesday lunchtime prayer meeting was another good time together, and we were delighted to be joined by Chief Inspector Heather Keating, who is responsible for policing in Hastings and shared with us some of the privileges and pressures on officers at the moment. It was a real pleasure to be able to pray for her and our police, and to reflect that in God's kingdom, convicted criminals can stand alongside police officers and worship God together!

Don't miss out on the opportunity to get involved in these exciting times together! Click here for details of upcoming meetings.
