Teddies galore!

Knitting Group
Over 30 knitted teddies were donated to the Mothers’ Union on Monday 31 March by 'The Knitting Group', which is part of St Leonards Community Group.

Mothers’ Union representative Chris Emson was delighted to receive the teddies and informed the group that each teddy would be distributed between a Contact Centre, the Ambulance Service and local prisons, who use them to ease anxiety in young children.

The Knitting Group meets every other Monday from 7.30pm to 9pm at Coffee Box. Members have also recently knitted Easter gifts to raise funds for local charities.

If you would like to join the group or find out more, please email hello@kingshastings.org.
