Family God Talk - 18.09.16

We're back! After a bit of a break over the summer Family God Talk is back to help you and your family spend time together with God. We're really passionate about our families growing in God together, but we know it can be a hard thing to do. We want to help and so each week we produce some resources based around what our Sunday children's groups have been doing. Take a look below for this week's Family God Talk.

This week in Totz (0-4s)
Totz are learning about creation at the moment. This week they looked at day 3 in the story of creation in Genesis 1 when God created the land and the plants. Talk about your favourite places and favourite plants and thank God for them.

This week in NRG (4-7s) and N:Gage (7-11s)
NRG and N:Gage started a new series this week: Walking and talking with God. Over the next couple of months both groups will be hearing the stories of key figures from the Bible who walked and talked with God and will be learning how we can do the same. This will fit really well with the 40 days of hungering after God which we as a church are starting on 2nd October.

This week we looked at God's creation of Adam and Eve and saw how God has created us to walk and talk with him. However, all of us, like Adam and Eve, have done things wrong which stop us from being able to walk and talk with God, but that's why God sent Jesus! Through Jesus we can walk and talk with God again.

Our one big point this week was: God loves us and made us to walk and talk with him.
