SMALL GROUPS
In a church of some 350 people, it could be difficult for newcomers to get to know people. We don’t want anyone to feel ‘lost in the crowd’ so we have a network of small groups meeting in people’s homes across Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and the surrounding areas during the week.
For a great way to get to know people and learn more about the bible in a relaxed atmosphere
Groups vary in size and emphasis, with some reaching out to help needy areas of town, others helping young families, and others helping run Alpha courses.
Typical small group life includes praying, worshipping God and learning from and discussing the Bible together. But it’s also about making friendships, having fun, eating together and sharing each other’s problems and celebrations.
Two couples oversee this network of small groups, with Santino & Emma Hamberis looking after one half and Adrian & Liz Pursglove caring for the other half.
