Wrigglers is our Sunday morning group for babies and toddlers, while our primary school children enjoy an exciting programme at MegaMix.
During the week, our popular Totz Klub keeps pre-school children entertained while parents natter over a coffee.
All our children’s workers are fully CRB-checked.
Babies and toddlers enjoy a fun-filled programme in Wrigglers on Sunday mornings, including play, singing, snacks, crafts and stories, enabling parents to take part in the main meeting. Far from being a babysitting service, Wrigglers provides a place where children are taught that God loves them and they are special to him.
The team is led by Helen Norcock, who is married to Paul and mum of three young daughters. Helen is assisted by Chloe (who has four young sons and is married to church leader Paul Mann) and Val Houlton (a proud grandmother).
Pre-schoolers go out to Wrigglers about 15 minutes into the Sunday morning service, but parents are welcome to take their children in at any point after this, and to stay with them if they want to.
MegaMix is Sunday school with a twist! Primary school children usually find themselves jumping up and down (some call it dancing!) to songs, laughing at comedy sketches and dressing up lots. Activities, colouring sheets, plays and lots more make Sunday mornings great fun for this age group.
Kate Thurston heads up MegaMix alongside Ian and Bridget Partridge. Kate has many years’ experience working with young children in education and teaching, and Ian & Bridget have a wealth of knowledge from their years of running children’s clubs. And of course, being parents is the best education you can get!
