People of all generations, backgrounds and phases of life come together at King’s on Sunday mornings for lively worship and provoking sermons. Our meetings are family-friendly, with a full programme for children.

Our Sunday morning meetings start at 10am at The Hastings Centre, a former sports centre that doesn’t look much like a traditional church building.
Typically a Sunday morning looks like this...
- We kick off at 10am with lively worship led by our band
- About 15 minutes into the meeting, our pre-school and primary school children go out to MegaMix and Wrigglers
- Information about upcoming events and news is given between the worship and the sermon
- The sermon lasts about 40 minutes
- Tea, coffee and biscuits (and occasionally doughnuts!) are available at the end of the meeting
We would love to get to know you, so after the meeting please pop over to the visitors’ area where we can chat over a drink. Our welcome team is very friendly and will be happy to answer any questions you have about the church.

Worship
At King’s we believe worship is the most important thing we do. God created us to be worshippers, and the Christian life is a life of worship. Our attitude is more important in worship than the type of instruments or style of music – but that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy good music and good musicians! We have two fantastic bands and a choir who lead us in dynamic, exciting worship on Sunday mornings.
Simon Thurston leads our worship and arts team, overseeing our very talented group of musicians, dancers and artists. Our main worship leaders are Aled Cousins, Simon Thurston and Nick Clark.
